P J O'Connor Jewelry Designs
A graduate of Emerson College in Boston, Peri re-discovered her love of art and design, when dragged into a bead and silver shop by a friend. After stringing several pieces, she found she enjoyed the wire more than the beads, and began studying metal art at schools around Boston, including Stonybrook, North Bennett Street School, and Metalwerx School for Jewelry and Metal Arts, in Waltham.
For a decade, she honed her techniques in Fine, Sterling, Argentium Silver, and Gold, and makes her pieces, one at a time, in her studio, at Artisans in the Square in Hingham, where she is a Co-op Partner, and private client collections. You can also find her at the North River Arts Society Festivals, where she is a member.
As President of the Board of the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA), Boston Chapter, she is always on the lookout for networking and educational opportunities within the industry. She is also a member of the Boston Jewelers' Club, an organization for Massachusetts-area based industry professionals.
In addition, as time allows, Peri loves to teach jewelry arts at various arts centers on the south shore of Massachusetts.
